Air Pollution Thermal Media
Regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO) are used to destroy volatile organic compounds (VOC) and other problematic emissions in air pollution abatement. This air pollution control technology uses high temperatures to incinerate and destroy a wide range of VOC emissions. Thermal incineration of VOCs and other pollutants occur when the polluted gas
stream is heated to temperatures of (~1400-1500 °F). At these temperatures, the VOCs are converted to CO2, water vapor, and heat.
RTO Units use two primary medias: Ceramic Honeycomb Monoliths and Porcelain Saddles. Each of these products offers excellent heat capacity, thermal shock, and chemical resistance properties for use in RTO units. Ceramic Honeycomb are specified as structured RTO media and Saddles are a form of random RTO media. We provide a variety of different ceramic honeycomb products depending on each customer's application needs.
With our advanced technology development team in the USA and our low cost manufacturing operations in China, we offer a superb value of Top Quality Products at a Cost Saving Price.
For the benefit and convenience of our customers, we maintain several types of RTO media in various stock quantities in the USA to meet quick delivery requirements.
